I can’t be the only one that stresses over silly things like what to put in my kids’ Easter baskets am I? Candy and sweets are a great filler, but I also like to include some quality items that will get used all year long. I don’t mind spending a little more for things like that.
Six friends and I have put together different Easter Basket ideas to help you out this season! The ideas cover all ages, boys & girls, and even some for grown-ups/hostesses! At the end of this post there will be links to the other 5 blog posts so be sure to check them out. Seriously some great inspo!
I focused on one for my 5 year old Lego obsessed boy. These ideas could be used for any age really – boys or girls. Pretty universal for any lego lover IMO! If you follow me over on Instagram (@tablefor5please) I’ve been sharing the transformation of my son’s room from a nautical room to a Lego themed one. I’ll be sharing more of that soon! Kinda got Legos on the brain lately!
Here is what I put together for my son. I’m going to be using a Lego storage brick for his Easter basket this year just to be different (and because it can double as storage after Easter)! He has a regular Easter basket he can use for egg hunting though. I will link all products at the end of this post too!
I wanted to show you one of the items and how I used it real quick too. It’s called a Lego lunchbox, although it seems pretty small to fit a ton in. You can buy these adorable little storage containers to separate things in the lunchbox. I used mine for some fun sweet treats, but plan on using it for my son’s desk storage after Easter! See how I planned all that out?
Here is what everything looked like in the package….

Here is what I put in all the containers! See how they all fit nicely inside the lunchbox brick?

Another must have for a lego builder is the Mad Matter. It’s like playdoh but it never dries out! The kits below have a brick maker. The small kit comes with a tool to make 1 brick at a time and the big kit makes 6 bricks at a time! My boys LOVE playing with these and they range in age from 5-12.
The other must haves are the lego storage cubes (what all the Easter stuff is sitting in). We have a few of them and they hold so much! Everything else is more self explanatory I think. I will post all links for you to shop below. Most everything can be bought on Amazon with free 2 day prime shipping!
