Summer is the perfect time for get togethers with family and friends and spending some time outside. This space got cleaned up (anyone else love power washing?) and I knew I needed to add some fun color for summertime. I’ll share any links I can throughout my post for you as well.
I knew Kirkland’s had some bright colors for summer so I stopped in there and they had 5′ x 8′ outdoor rugs for less than $40! For a rug that will be outdoor use only and might not get reused after the season, I thought it was an amazing price point! Isn’t it fun?

I also found the blue striped rug and floral doormat for our front door entry and layered them for a fun look!

The rugs set the tone for how I wanted to go with this outdoor space. I stopped in the Dollar Tree (my go to nowadays for cheap decor) and found the cute aqua plates that came in a set of 4 for $1! The navy blue salad plates came from Walmart and the sailboats are from the Target dollar spot. The navy striped towels say Happy Fall, but I just rolled them up so that didn’t show (a previous purchase from the Target $1 spot)! The cute beverage crate is from Michael’s and I took the labels off of our bottled water for a cleaner, less busy look. For disposable silverware I love these wooden ones I purchased from Amazon HERE. The navy placemats were found at Homegoods a while back but Walmart has similar ones HERE.
I love to entertain and reuse items I have. These spaces got a little update for close to $50! Not too fancy but dresses up the space for a fun dinner party to celebrate summer.
Thanks for stopping by as always and HAPPY SUMMER,
